Mission Overview

A leading insurance and reinsurance organization is seeking a Senior Reinsurance Advisor for a one-month consulting mission in Dubai. The consultant will support the client in reviewing their reinsurance strategy, evaluating treaty structures, and strengthening their risk transfer framework ahead of upcoming underwriting cycles.

This role requires a highly experienced professional able to rapidly assess complex portfolios and provide strategic, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current reinsurance program, including proportional and non-proportional treaties.

• Analyze portfolio exposure and recommend improvements to risk transfer and capital optimization strategies.

• Support the preparation of renewal negotiations with reinsurers and brokers.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing reinsurance placements and structures.

• Provide insights on global reinsurance market trends and pricing dynamics.

• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

• Work closely with underwriting, actuarial, and risk management teams.

Required Profile

• Senior-level experience (10+ years) in reinsurance, insurance, or risk consulting.

• Strong expertise in treaty design, portfolio analysis, and reinsurance strategy.

• Experience working with international reinsurance markets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to deliver results within tight timelines and short missions.
